  John D. Sheffield, PA-C, MPAS

John Sheffield serves as Remediation & Evaluation Coordinator for the South University Physician Assistant Program.

Prior to joining South University, Sheffield worked in an ear nose and throat practice for eight years and served as a combat medic and practical nurse for fifteen years. He retired from the Army in 1994.

He received his physician assistant training at the United States Army Physician Assistant Course at Fort Sam Houston, Texas and later at Reynolds Army Community Hospital. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and earned a masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.
