  Kenneth R.  Amsler, PT, PH.D.

Kenneth R. Amsler, PT, PhD is the Program Director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program at South University and is based at the West Palm Beach, FL campus.

Dr. Amsler was educated at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received his physical therapy training at New York University. He holds the Ph.D. in Biology from St. Bonaventure University and is a diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, one of a few physical therapists in the nation so qualified. He is an experienced functional capacities evaluation specialist and has been providing this service to clients in the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area since 1987.

Dr. Amsler is active in physical therapy postgraduate education and has provided continuing education in areas of musculoskeletal examination and treatment, physical therapist practice law, utilization review, medical errors prevention, and geriatric physical therapy.

Prior to moving to Palm Beach Gardens with his family in 1984 he served as Director of Physical Therapy at Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center and Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, IL. and taught in the physical therapy program at Northwestern University.
