  Patricia L.  Emfinger, PA-C


Patricia L. Emfinger serves as Medical Anatomy Lab Coordinator and Small Group Leader for South University’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program.


She works full time in Savannah, GA in a Pulmonary/ Internal Medicine solo physician practice. Earlier in her career, she went on active duty with the US Army, serving in the Army Nurse Corps during Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm and has served as Hospital Supervisor for weekends at St. Joseph’s/ Candler Health System.


 


Originally from Buffalo, NY, she graduated from Niagara University, NY in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a minor in Military Science. In June 2001, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the South University PA bachelor’s degree program. She is currently a member of the AAPA, GAPA and WAPA and was recently inducted in the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
