Through foundational and advanced ministry studies courses led by qualified and experienced professors, students of all faith traditions prepare to serve and lead more effectively in a variety of settings including local churches, parachurch organizations, institutions, the community, and the marketplace. Courses are taught in a blended format, combining the best of conveniently scheduled classroom and online instruction to form a robust and interactive learning environment.
South University is the only accredited school to offer the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) as a first-professional degree for students with a bachelors degree (Standard Track – 96 Quarter Hour credits). If you have completed a Masters of Divinity or a Masters of Arts in biblical, theological, and/or ministry studies with at least 90 QH credits (60 Semester Hour credits), you may be eligible for the shorter (Advanced Track 48 Quarter Hour credits).
