South University's Montgomery campus is located on the rapidly growing east side of Alabama's capital city. As the state capital, Montgomery is a hub of government, banking, and law, as well as a state center for culture and entertainment. Montgomery is situated in the middle of the southeastern U.S., and is less than a three-hour drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Facilities
In 2003, the Montgomery campus moved from downtown into a new facility located on the east side of the city near I-85. The two-story building includes computer and health professions labs, a library, comfortably outfitted classrooms, a student center and bookstore, as well as faculty and administrative offices.
The library at South University’s Montgomery campus is located on the second floor of the building and is readily accessible to all students. Orientation sessions for faculty, staff, and students take place in the library. These sessions include training in search techniques for the Internet and proprietary databases, evaluation of materials and Web sites, and bibliographic citation.
The library is equipped with wireless Internet technology throughout and provides comfortable seating and quiet study space. A trained staff of librarians is on hand to offer reference and interlibrary loan service. Our collection includes books and periodicals (print and on-line), CDs, videos, and numerous on-line proprietary databases. Like all of the South University campus libraries, materials are housed in circulating, reference, and reserve material collections and are carefully selected to support our academic programs.
In addition to the traditional library setting, the Montgomery campus also has a modern computer lab with ten workstations. Each workstation offers Internet access, on-line database services, an office suite, tutorials, and class support-software.
