Application Process
Admission to the South University School of Pharmacy’s accelerated three-year degree program is extremely competitive.
This year, the University received more than 1,300 applications for its 80 available slots.
South University utilizes the PharmCAS system for applications. PharmCAS can be viewed at
www.pharmcas.org. All transcripts, letters of recommendation, and PCAT scores should be sent
directly to PharmCAS. Direct applications to South University will not be processed. A fee of $50.00 will be required to complete the application process.
Applications will not be reviewed until these are received.

Applying to the School of Pharmacy
Complete the Application for Admission as early as possible. Be sure to provide all the materials requested. Follow all instructions completely and accurately so that your file can be reviewed. Pay close attention to deadlines, and review the admissions calendar. Plan to take the PCAT as early as possible. Review the prerequisites and make sure that you have completed all the required coursework. The School of Pharmacy requires that all prerequisite courses be completed prior to the first day of class.
Prepare to take the PCAT
Take preparation for the PCAT seriously. Study the PCAT review books which your can find at libraries, campus bookstores, or Amazon.com. Have the results sent directly to the school so that your file may be completed and reviewed. Visit the
PCAT website, or contact the Psychological Corporation (1.800.622.3231). The PCAT code for South University is 104.
