Limitation of Service


The intent of the South University Drug Information Center is to encourage open communication between healthcare providers and patients. The services offered by the Center are intended to augment patient care and education. Therefore, the Center has some limiations on the services it provides. These include:
  • Reserving drug identification queries to healthcare providers only
  • Referring poisoning and toxicology questions to poison control centers
  • Referring potential lawsuit inquiries to other consultants
  • Preparing inservice or presentations
  • Providing photocopies of articles tue to copyright laws
