Student Health Insurance and Immunization Information

South University requires that all students have health insurance. In order to comply, students must procure health insurance prior to the start of school.

Students must also show proof of immunity to, or receipt of, the following immunizations: Measles/Mumps/Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chickenpox), Tetanus/Diptheria, and Hepatitis B. In addition, students must complete the annual Tuberculin Test (PPD). An Immunization Clearance Form provided as part of the acceptance package must be completed and returned along with other immunization documentation.

For routine health care while on the South University campus, students may visit the nearby Memorial Health Family Medicine Center on a fee-for-service basis.
