Welcome to the South University School of Pharmacy. Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). The South University's Doctor of Pharmacy program is one of only three Schools of Pharmacy in the state of Georgia and one of only six accredited Schools of Pharmacy in the U.S. to offer an accelerated three-year curriculum.
The mission of the South University School of Pharmacy is to serve the public's healthcare needs by preparing pharmacists to provide pharmaceutical care that improves health outcomes for patients.
The School of Pharmacy strives for excellence in teaching, scholarship, professional service and community service. Faculty provide students with the knowledge, skills, abilities and values necessary to become a successful practitioner. While at South University, students are encouraged to foster a desire for life-long learning, engage in scholarship, learn about the process of research and to develop an understanding of the value of interdisciplinary care. At South University, students are encouraged to become involved in their community and to develop an understanding of the importance of volunteerism and its impact on the community.
The South University School of Pharmacy is located on the institution's Savannah, GA campus conveniently located near historic downtown, shopping, the beaches of Tybee Island and many other attractions. The Doctor of Pharmacy programs provides progressive, quality post-graduate education for the profession's future practitioners.
