Who are we? South University, Cleveland opened in 2012, and although the campus is young it is tied to a long-standing tradition of excellence in education and personalized student attention. South University traces its heritage to 1899, when Dr. John Draughon established Draughon’s Practical Business College in Savannah, Georgia. We give a nod to our tradition with the Cleveland school’s clock tower.

We also embrace who Cleveland is home to a diverse population and diverse industries. There’s never a dull moment in Cleveland, and we have extended this to our campus, where students can get excited about learning.
