Dr. Curtis E. Jones, II received a B.S. in Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina. He currently serves as Associate Dean for Administration and Academic Affairs and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Jones worked as a clinical pharmacist specializing in critical care medicine and a product development scientist in the pharmaceutical industry before joining the faculty of South University's School of Pharmacy in 2003. Dr. Jones is involved in lecturing in the Pharmaceutics courses and is currently involved in research in the area of drug delivery and therapeutics of acute and chronic wounds and drug delivery in central nervous system malignancies.
Dr. Jones is a current member of numerous professional organizations and societies, and serves as a member of the local neuro-oncology tumor board and research focus group.
