Do Not Call Policy

Do Not Call Policy

South University, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectively “South”) comply with laws and regulations and are committed to protecting and respecting consumers’ rights to privacy.

South maintains a record of the name and telephone number(s) for consumers who do not wish to be called. Upon request, consumers’ telephone number(s) will be added to South’s internal Do Not Call List within five (5) business days of receipt of such request. This record will be retained for at least five (5) years.

Consumers are responsible for notifying South of any changes in name or telephone number if they move or wish to place a new telephone number on the South internal Do Not Call List, or if there is more than one telephone line or number that they wish to place on the Do Not Call List. To be exempted from this list, please complete our Do Not Call Exemption Request Form.

Consumers have additional avenues available to them that will help reduce or eliminate unwanted telephone solicitations. Consumers may place their telephone number(s) on the National Do Not Call Registry online or by calling 1.888.382.1222. In addition, the Direct Marketing Association also offers a free service titled “Telephone Preference Service.” Consumers may register for this service online or by sending a written request to:

Telephone Preference Service
Direct Marketing Association
P.O. Box 1559
Carmel, NY 10512

South has established and implemented written procedures to honor consumers’ requests that they not be called, and appropriate personnel have received training. Procedures include consultation of both the National Do Not Call Registry and internal Do Not Call List prior to making any telephone solicitation.

Telephone calls to consumers with whom South has an established business relationship are permitted unless they have asked to be included on the internal Do Not Call List.

No unsolicited facsimile solicitations will be initiated.

Consumers may request a copy of this Policy. Upon receipt of request, we will send a copy via U.S. mail or electronic mail within thirty (30) days.
