South University expands campus to keep pace with enrollment
Thursday, October 01, 2009 — Montgomery, AL
South University is expanding its campus on Vaughn Road, on the east side of Montgomery, by adding a new two-story, 18,000-square-foot building on the 3.75 acre campus. Construction began in late August and is targeted for completion in June 2010; the university plans to begin utilizing the new the new space beginning in summer quarter 2010.

South University awarding highest number of graduate degrees
Monday, June 15, 2009 — Montgomery, AL
South University is awarding more graduate-level degrees than ever before. Nine of the 104 graduates who are eligible to walk across the stage next Thursday, June 18, at the Davis Theater at 7:00 p.m., will earn master's degrees. Eight are earning their Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, and one student is earning a Master of Business Administration.

South University gears up to Help Our Neighbors during the National Week of Service

South University's faculty, staff and students will team up in a broad effort to Help Our Neighbors in during the National Week of Service April 19 to 25, 2009. The faculty, staff and students at South University are no strangers to community service. Since its inception, South University has been actively involved to community outreach with various projects ranging from collecting donations for pediatric patients in local hospitals to sending gifts to underprivileged children around the world at Christmas time.
