Description
South University’s Savannah campus is the largest South University campus and is located on the Southside of Savannah. The original School of Business building was constructed in 1979, and the campus began a period of transformation in 2000. Undergoing renovation and new construction, the campus today consists of four building, including a new library and the iconic clock tower. In 2002, South University launched its School of Pharmacy, becoming the only university in Savannah to offer a health professions doctorate. South University is a private academic institution dedicated to providing educational opportunities for the intellectual, social and professional development of a diverse student population.

Student Profile
The campus had a Fall 2007 enrollment of 1,023 students and Fall 2008 of 1,242 with over 160 faculty members. Approximately 20 percent of students are pursuing doctorate degrees; 22 percent are pursing master’s degrees; 30 percent are pursing bachelor’s degrees; and 28 percent are pursing associate’s degrees. The students are young professionals seeking to advance or start new careers.

Online Student Profile
The online programs had a Fall 2007 enrollment of 3,442 and a Fall 2008 enrollment of 7,308. Approximately 8 percent are pursing master’s degrees; 73 percent are pursing bachelor’s degrees; and 20 percent are pursing associate’s degrees.

South University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.
