(SAVANNAH, GA - January 16, 2008) South University has announced the appointment of Steven K. Yoho, Ph.D., as Dean of the School of Business and Professor of Management.
Yoho comes to South University from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., where he served as Associate Dean of the College of Business and Professor of Management, leading the development of the University's professional MBA program and online foundation courses. For the past four consecutive years, Yoho was recognized as Outstanding MBA Professor.
Prior to joining Lipscomb, Yoho was President and CEO of American Marietta Corporation, a specialty engineering firm serving the construction industry. Yoho has also worked in the manufacturing sector as both a Plant Manager and Human Resources Manager for Hartco/Tibbets Flooring.
Yoho holds an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian University, an MBA from West Virginia University, and a Ph.D. in Organization Behavior and Organization Theory from Ohio State University.
