South University Names New Senior Admissions Director

Danielle Maddox has been named Senior Director of Admissions for the Savannah campus of South University. In this position, Maddox will be responsible for leading the recruitment and enrollment program for the Savannah campus. She will lead and develop a 12-person team to create a vibrant new student environment, ensuring that all polices and the highest ethical standards are met.
“Danielle Maddox brings a valuable, unique set of experience and skills to South University,” said Todd Cellini, president of South University in Savannah. “She is an enthusiastic lifelong learner who has benefited personally and professionally from the type of flexible scheduling available through accredited, non-traditional institutions of higher education. She also has a successful track record in recruitment and admissions. She is just the person we need to maintain the momentum we are enjoying at South University in Savannah.”
Maddox comes to South University from the Birmingham, Ala., campus of University of Phoenix, where she had served for the past six years, most recently as senior enrollment counselor. She entered the higher education sector after nearly a decade in sales and customer service for Synovus Financial Corporation, Columbus, Ga. She is a graduate of Columbus State University and received the M.B.A in marketing and the M.S. in psychology from University of Phoenix.
