Pharmacists in Academia: Pharmacists are an integral part of the faculty in Colleges and Schools of Pharmacy. In this setting, pharmacists are responsible for didactic teaching of clinical pharmacy courses and also serve as preceptors for students completing rotations, giving them the opportunity to observe clinical pharmacy activities. South University Names Curtis Jones, Ph.D., R.Ph. New Dean for School of Pharmacy

South University announced today that Curtis Jones, Ph.D., R.Ph., has been appointed Dean of the School of Pharmacy and will oversee pharmacy programs in Georgia and South Carolina. As Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Dr. Jones reports to the South University Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Dr. Steven Yoho.

Estimated Tuition for the Pharm.D. Program

  • Per quarter: $10,645.00

Estimated Fees for the Pharm.D. Program

  • General/Early Acceptance Deposit: $1,000.00
    (Non-refundable)
  • Textbooks+: $650.00
    (Estimated Average Cost per Quarter)

Tuition and fees are subject to change. All acceptance deposits are credited to tuition, but are not refundable if the student fails to matriculate. Tuition for in-state and out-of-state residents is the same.

*Upon completion of the PharmCAS application, students are required to complete the Supplemental Application.

+Books may be used for multiple quarters. Cost for the first quarter is estimated to be $700.00.
