New Library Resources for July 2012

We asked for students' suggestions on resources they would like to see in the online library, and as a result of their input, have added the following new databases!

  • ebrary - Collection of e-books and other authoritative materials with over 25,000 titles, covering subject areas such as Nursing and Allied Health, Computer Technologies, Business, Law Enforcement, Criminal Law, and Criminology.
  • Hoover’s Academic - Award winning resource! Search more than 65 million public and private companies worldwide or find out about over 85 million people--with information from the company's history to the CEO's salary. Also reference more than 700 industry records with industry description, SIC, NAICS, and links to related Web resources.
  • Primal Pictures - Quick, easy access to the complete line up of three dimensional regional and functional anatomy. Derived from real human data, this range of software provides over 5,000 3D anatomical structures, clinical slides, dissections, animations and much more. Access single modules targeted to a specific body region, professional function, or medical specialty and suites of modules covering the entire human body, including quizzes and study guides.
  • - Technology changes constantly so keep your skills current with All types of training are offered including in-depth essential training on specific software, to first looks at up-and-coming technology trends, to inspirational documentaries following creative professionals working in a variety of disciplines.
