The Atlanta campus is South University’s newest campus located in the woodsy Ashford Center, about thirty minutes away from downtown Atlanta. The tree-lined pathways create an inviting atmosphere, as well as provide a chance to feel closer to nature.
The Atlanta campus is a short distance north from I-285 and west from State Road 19. Just south of the campus is the Perimeter Mall; a short drive north is the Dunwoody Nature Center. Both locations provide students with the opportunity to relax and unwind or serve as a study location. There’s also the Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area with biking/hiking trails, fishing, and river rafting for more adventurous students. The Ashford Center is also accessible through bus route 150.
As with all of South University’s campuses, our faculty and staff are eager to support you as you pursue your educational goals. Our Academic Success Center and Career Services are ready to help students in the classroom and beyond.

The Atlanta campus primarily offers graduate programs such as our hybrid MBA in Business and MBA in Healthcare Administration, along with our Master of Science in Leadership program.

The Atlanta campus is accessible via MARTA, Atlanta’s public transit system. The Dunwoody MARTA station is nearby, offering convenient rail and bus connections throughout the metro area. What student support services are available on campus?
The Atlanta campus offers a comprehensive range of student support services to help students thrive both academically and personally. As the Atlanta campus is slowly expanding its services, some of the services are offered remotely. These include:
- Remote Academic Counseling
- Career Services for resume building, job search strategies, and interview preparation
- Short-term counseling and referrals via the Student Assistance Program
- Disability Services for accommodations and accessibility support
- Digital textbooks and learning platforms are integrated into most courses
- Health and wellness resources, including 24/7 access to professional counseling, coaching, and advocacy services
Does the campus have a library, lounge, or tutoring center?
No. The Atlanta campus does not yet have a physical library or student center. The majority of the programs taught at the Atlanta campus are in a hybrid format, which is primarily online. Remote access to libraries, tutoring, and other areas is available.
Is the campus wheelchair accessible?
Yes. South University’s Atlanta campus is fully wheelchair accessible and compliant with ADA standards. Students seeking additional accommodations should contact the campus and provide appropriate documentation.

What programs are offered at South University, Atlanta?
South University, Atlanta offers the following programs in a variety of modalities1. While your courses may be completely online, when you enroll with the South University, Atlanta campus, you have access to all its facilities and amenities.
Hybrid Programs:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Healthcare Administration (MBA)
- Master of Science in Leadership (MS)
A hybrid program consists of five-week courses with four weeks of online classes and one on-campus Saturday session. This allows for the benefit of online learning while also enabling you to meet with your instructor and fellow classmates.

South University does not offer on-campus dining. There is a small break room area with a coffee machine and a refrigerator available. The area surrounding the Atlanta campus offers a diverse range of dining options to suit various tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for authentic Southern cuisine, flavorful international dishes, or a casual dining experience, you'll find plenty of options nearby.
