Funding Available for Master of Science in Nursing Students

The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association offers funding for baccalaureate prepared RNs in the Promise of Nursing Faculty Fellowship Program. Funding for the Faculty Fellowships was contributed at gala events honoring RNs with support from The Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing’s Future, healthcare organizations, and others with an interest in supporting nursing education.

Awards range from $1,000 to $7,500 and can be used to pay tuition, academic fees, and books. Eligibility criteria include:

  • Documented academic excellence
  • Financial Need
  • Commitment to the Nurse Educator role and a plan to serve in this capacity upon completion of the program

Applications must be received by Friday, March 9, 2012. Winners will be notified in May.
