South University’s High Point campus offers a more personalized and supportive learning environment designed for students balancing work, education, and life. The campus features small class sizes, one-on-one faculty engagement, and multiple learning options, including on-campus and online formats.
The campus also has a clinical skills lab and a simulation lab with plans to expand into additional labs for students to practice and improve their skills.

The High Point campus is situated in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, known for its blend of urban amenities and small-town charm. Students can explore nearby attractions such as:

While High Point does not have a metro rail system, students can use High Point Transit System (HPTS) for local bus service. The High Point Station also connects to Amtrak and regional bus lines, offering access to nearby cities. South University’s High Point campus offers a wide range of student support services to help students succeed. These include:
- Remote academic advising through the Academic Success Center
- Financial aid advising
- Career Services with resume building, job search support, and interview preparation
- Counseling services via the Be Well at South program, offering 24/7 access to mental health professionals and wellness resources
- Federal Work Study Program so students can offset the cost of their tuition is available to those who qualify
- Disability services and accommodations coordinated through the Dean of Student Affairs
- Access to digital textbooks and learning platforms, including Brightspace and Office 365
Does the campus have a library, lounge, or tutoring center?
The High Point campus features a student lounge area, an outdoor space for study and relaxation, computer labs with printing capabilities, with plans to expand into an on-campus wellness center.

While High Point doesn’t have traditional internships, students can form professional connections while they complete their clinical rotations. Federal Work Study is also available for the students who meet the requirements.

Yes. South University’s High Point campus is fully wheelchair accessible and complies with ADA standards. You can contact the admissions office at South University, High Point by calling (336) 812-7200. Office Hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What programs are offered at South University, High Point?
South University, High Point offers the following programs in a variety of modalities1. While your courses may be completely online, when you enroll with the South University, High Point campus, you have access to all its facilities and amenities.
Campus-Clinical Programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)2, 3
Online Programs:
- Allied Health Science (AS)
1 Modality varies by location and program.
2 Graduates are required to pass the national certification exam and obtain a state license in order to work in the field. (Exam names vary by program.) Please refer to the State Professional Licensure Determination and National Certification/Licensure section of the University catalog for additional information. South University cannot guarantee each graduate will pass the required licensure examinations. South University does not promise or guarantee licensure, employment or salary amounts.
3 Programs, including all Clinical/Medical programs, have a required in-person clinical, practicum, or externship. We cannot guarantee flexibility in these components of the program.

What dining options are available?
South University does not offer on-campus dining; the campus does have vending machines available for a quick snack. High Point is currently working to expand our student lounge area for better service and convenience. The area around the High Point campus has a variety of options for meals. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Southern breakfast, barbecue, international cuisine, or a more casual dining experience, there’s something for just about everyone’s tastes.
