Flexible Learning Options that Fit Your Schedule

Our MBA programs are available fully online as well as at several campuses where you can earn your degree through a mix of in-person and online learning. In the blended modality, students meet on campus every other week, while completing online coursework during the time in between their face-to-face meetings.

Our online MBA degree program can be completed in 16 months. Students in the blended on campus + online MBA programs can earn their degree in 18 months.

Looking for a faster way to earn your master’s degree in business administration? Two South University schools offer one year MBA programs via the Accelerated Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

MBA Requirements for Admissions

Not sure whether you need to take the GMAT or GRE for MBA admissions? Haven’t taken either test yet? At South University, you can still apply to our online or our blended on campus + online MBA; no GMAT or GRE scores are required if you meet one of the other admissions criteria outlined below.

Our full MBA requirements for admission include a completed admissions application and:

  • An earned undergraduate degree from an acceptable accredited institution with a CGPA of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale
  • -Or-
  • An earned undergraduate degree from an acceptable accredited institution with a CGPA of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale during the applicant’s last 60 semester or 90 quarter hours earned on the bachelor’s degree or subsequent graduate work
  • -Or-
  • An earned undergraduate degree from an acceptable accredited institution with a minimum combined GMAT score of 400 or GRE scores of 150 Verbal and 150 Reasoning
  • -Or-
  • An earned graduate degree from an acceptable accredited institution with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0)

In addition, applicants must submit:

  • Career resume
  • A 1,000 word personal statement of academic and career goals highlighting interest in and readiness for this unique and challenging program
