Established in 2009, South University, Richmond is right in the heart of Short Pump and is surrounded by eateries, shopping, a fitness center, and a bustling community. Richmond is an eclectic and historical city, with a youthful population that is known for its great food, festivals and access to outdoor adventures, like the river rapids of the James that run through its center. We get to experience the beauty of summer, fall, winter, and spring in Richmond and find ourselves only an hour or two away from Washington D.C., the Chesapeake Bay or the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Yes, parking is available on-site for students, faculty, and visitors. The campus is located within West Broad Village, which offers ample parking options.
What public transportation options exist?
Public transportation in the Richmond area is provided by GRTC Transit System (https://ridegrtc.com/ ). While service to Short Pump is limited, students may be able to use nearby park-and-ride options or carpooling services. GRTC also offers a mobile app for route planning and real-time tracking.

The Richmond campus offers a wide range of student support services, including:

What dining options are available?
South University does not offer on-campus dining; however, the campus does have a breakroom that has vending machines, microwaves, coffee makers, and an outdoor patio for student use. The surrounding Short Pump area offers a wide variety of dining options. From local cafés and international cuisine to fast-casual favorites, students have plenty of choices within walking distance of campus.
