South University’s Austin campus is approximately 20 miles north of downtown Austin. It’s conveniently located near major employers like Dell Technologies and St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center and is just minutes from local hot spots including Round Rock Donuts, the Rock ’N River Waterpark, and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail.

What public transportation options exist?
Public transportation in the Austin–Round Rock area is provided by CapMetro (https://www.capmetro.org/). While the campus itself is in Round Rock, students commuting from Austin can use CapMetro’s MetroRail and MetroBus services. The nearest major transit hubs include the Howard and Lakeline MetroRail stations, which connect to bus routes serving the broader area. CapMetro also offers Park & Ride facilities and real-time trip planning via their mobile app.
