Overview

The Austin campus of South University is centrally located near the La Fronterra Business Park that offers live music, food trucks, and several outdoor activities. It’s close to I-35 interstate and state road 45, the Austin campus is also a ten-minute drive away from Austin’s, a local theme park, and Brushy Creek Lake Park.

The Austin Physician Assistant and Physical Therapist Assistant programs have had a 100% graduate pass rate*, along with a 30% increase in the NCLEX pass rate* for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program from the previous year. The faculty at Austin believe in their students’ ability to achieve, regardless of their background.

Another highlight of the Austin campus is the number of clinical programs available. These programs are in the area of Healthcare, Nursing, and Public Health. Some of these programs may have an online modality available with in-person clinical portions. Other online programs include areas of Business & Technology and Counseling & Psychology. While the coursework may be all online for some programs, the students have full use of the campus, its staff, and all its amenities.
