Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration
In South University’s online* Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration degree, you have the opportunity to gain practical business knowledge and skills and how to apply them in a healthcare setting**. Through the coursework, you’ll have the opportunity to learn many different topics, including financial management, law and ethics, marketing, human resources, health policy, and strategic planning to improve healthcare delivery systems. Through case studies and faculty-led discussions, you’ll examine healthcare system organizational models, learn impactful communication and leadership styles, and study best practices for long and short-term decision-making in the healthcare industry. By earning your healthcare administration degree online, you can have flexible classwork that accommodates your schedule.
*Online programs, including all clinical/medical programs, can have an in-person clinical, practicum, or externship experience that may not be flexible.

Admission Requirements
Admissions criteria for the Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration (MBA-HCA)
Graduate Admissions - Masters level
Prospective students are required to submit the following:
- Completion of application for admission
- Official transcripts for bachelor or graduate degree within 5 weeks of the class start date (refer to Conditional Acceptance). (All credentials earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE-member credential evaluation service). Please speak with an admissions representative for more information.

Specific requirements for admission to classified graduate status are:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- A 2.0 overall grade point average or higher on completed requirements for the baccalaureate degree, or an earned graduate degree from an accredited institution.
- Or South University Doctor of Pharmacy students with a Pharm.D cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher who are approved for concurrent enrollment in the MBA-HCA program are eligible to enroll in classes after completing 120 hours of coursework, i.e. after Pharmacy Quarter 4.
- Completion of application for admission.

Communicate healthcare solutions using strong written, research, and analytical skills supported by appropriate information technologies.
